We’re high school sweethearts, raising our four children in Central, MN.
This idea came together when Kyle’s drive for a personalized client experience combined with Rachel’s passion for helping others feel their best.
Together, we wanted to create a resource for couples that will inspire ideas to make the wedding planning process simplified and fun.
On this page you will find our tips for wedding preparation, ideas for your big day, and information on your gift box.

Having hair and skin that are picture perfect can add a great amount of confidence to a bride’s special day. Here are some tips to start implementing now to have radiant hair and skin on your wedding day:
Stay hydrated! When the body is hydrated, it enhances the complexion and keeps hair shiny, and strong, which creates a glow that is visible to all! And who doesn’t want to have a beautiful natural glow on their wedding day?!
To make staying hydrated easy, Rachel likes to set a timer on her phone to remember to drink water, create a challenge with herself to drink ‘x amount’ of water, and Infuse her water with these Vitality Drops they are so good and also include electrolytes!
Start taking a high quality collagen and MSM. There are several different collagens on the market, but Type 1 collagen best supports the skin, hair, and nails. Also look for collagens that don’t have added sugars, artificial fillers, flavors, colors, or sweeteners. Rachel’s favorite collagen is this.
MSM, or methylsulfonylmethane, has been shown to support the health of hair, skin, and nails. Rachel’s favorite supplement including MSM is this one because of it’s unique combination of MSM and the wolfberry (which also has amazing health benefits).
Eat well. There is evidence that some foods can enhance hair, skin, and nail health such as salmon, fish that are high in omega-3 fatty acids, nuts, avocados, and a variety of fruits and vegetables.

Staying calm can help keep your stress levels at bay while planning your big day. When stress levels are low, you’re able to enjoy the planning process - it truly is a magical time! Here are some ways to manage your stress during wedding planning:
Guided meditation - Click HERE
Deep breathing practices
Physical activity and exercise
Use aromatherapy by diffusing essential oils or applying them to your wrists! Also check out my favorites HERE
Journal your thoughts - believe it or not, journaling can help relieve stress and anxiety! Plus, wouldn’t it be fun to look back and read your thoughts and excitement leading up to your wedding day? I love this cute journal!

One of the first photos and videos captured on your big day is all of the small and beautiful “detail shots”. Having these items gathered in a box, ready to go, will allow the photo and video team to work efficiently and stay on the timeline. Items often included in the detail shots are jewelry, wedding invitations, vows, perfume/cologne, shoes, and flowers. Another pro tip: designate a trusted friend or family member to return your detail items to you when the detail shots are finished.

The aroma you have on your wedding day can also help set the tone! Incorporating aromatherapy into the morning of your big day can help ease stress, and create a joyful and happy environment. Here are some fun diffuser blends you can use while getting ready:

Feeding yourself (and your bridal party!) is often a detail that gets overlooked. Choosing a grocery list with finger foods and snacks (such as sandwiches, carrots, cucumbers, etc.) that can be kept in a cooler is best - no worries about getting dresses and suits dirty! When you’re preparing these final details of your big day, we suggest delegating this task to a trusted friend or family member by sending them the grocery list.

Your Wedding Video

Lighting is key! When you and your wedding party are getting ready for the day, do your best to choose a well lit room (natural light if possible). The good, natural lighting will highlight your natural beauty and enhance the video quality. This tip applies to the bride, bridesmaids, groom, and groomsmen!
-
The idea of having cameras in your face all day can be intimidating and uncomfortable. Just being yourself and enjoying the day is very important.
-
When the wedding party is having fun, it makes for great photos and video! Telling jokes, playing fun music, sharing appropriate (or not appropriate) stories, and a cooler of Busch Light can help keep up the energy and create fun memories.
-
Capturing special moments on your wedding day makes your video unique and special. Here are some special moments to consider including in your big day:
Write a short and sweet letter to your spouse that briefly describes your story as a couple and how excited you are for the big day. Read this letter aloud to add a powerful and emotional element to your video - See the example
First look with the bridesmaids - See the example
First look with father and/or mother of the bride - See the example
First look with your child or pet - See the example
-
Right after the first dances, have the DJ announce that there will be a group photo of all wedding guests - that way everyone is already on the dance floor and ready to have a good time!
This allows Kyle to capture great dance footage early in the evening and it gives you a great memory of all the guests at your reception.
Be in the moment, enjoy each part!
